Aims & scope
AJATE publishes applied and theoretical research on economic questions, with much of its work grounded in Nigerian data and policy. Its issues cover monetary policy, public spending and tax, health and human capital, agriculture, banking and finance, trade and globalisation, urban and regional development, and security and federalism.

April · August · DecemberThe journal was published twice a year, in June and November, and moved to three issues a year (April, August and December) beginning in 2019.
Submissions & fees
₦35,000 processing feeA processing fee of ₦35,000 accompanies each manuscript. Cheques and electronic transfers are payable to the African Journal of Applied and Theoretical Economics, University of Port Harcourt.
